I believe I know what this is, and a place tried to do the same to me once. I asked my family and they said if you make a tight turn, do you hear loud cracking or popping noises? If so, then yes you need it. If no, then they're trying to take advantage of you.

you didn't say if that includes other things im assuming that there are other repairs also in this estimate what they are saying is remove and replace or remove and reinstall front stabilizer links i would try to help you more but i don't know what else you are getting replaced those links should be about 75 dollars to replace2006 Dodge Caravan.
