My cars windscreen is all smudgey.?

Every time i use my wipers a smudge appears on my windscreen. I've tried changing the wiper,but that hasn't made any changes.

Any suggestions as to what my problem is and how i can fix it?

Make sure that the wiper arms are putting enough pressure on the windscreen..My cars windscreen is all smudgey.?
Thoroughly clean the windscreen. The problem could be a coating of oil, grease, and other fluids thrown from the road up by the tires of other cars.
