It sounds like your wiper motor is burned out.
Have it checked first for a loose connection.
You can probably get one at a scrap yard, for a fraction of what a new one would costThe wipers on my 1994 Mercury Tracer won%26039;t work......????
Call around to some junk yards and try to locate a replacement wiper motor. They are not that hard to replace. Some some bolts holding down the wiper motor and some linkage attachments, and a few wires that should have a quick release plug on them.
I have total confidence in you. Used wiper motors are probly around $30. Installing is just the reverse of taking it off. You will learn quickly. Mark connectors that you may need to remember with tape. A to A, B to B, etc.

Like everyone else has said, it sounds like a bad wiper motor. These are not very expensive. I would call around and try to get a good used one, or even call parts stores to see what a new one would be. It may not be much more then the used one.The wipers on my 1994 Mercury Tracer won%26039;t work......????
Check to ensure the fuse did not blow. Your owners manual in the glove box should tell you the location of the fuse box as well as which fuse to check. Now u ask; how do I know if the fuse is bad. The fuses have a clear window that you can see the fuse element. If it is bad, you will see the element burnt in too; almost every time. Fuses are color coded so that you can easily replace with a like color. Some cars have a spare fuse or two at the fuse box.
