Been having this problem for the last 2 years. My wipers will work for a little while, but when i try to change speeds or turn them off it will blow a fuse. If i replace the fuse, it will work again, but only for a short amount of time %26amp; then i have the same problem. Have taken the car to several dealerships %26amp; mechanics %26amp; nobody can ever find anything wrong. They all say that everything looks fine %26amp; just replace the fuse %26amp; a few weeks later I am in the same boat again. anyone have any ideas what could be the problem %26amp; any ideas on how to fix it?97 Volkswagen Jetta - Windshield Wipers quit working?
there's a motor attached to the begging of the wiper blade (under hood, driver side [usually]), change the motor.
