Isn't this the answer to the health care problem?

1) Lose the monopolies and allow health insurance to cross state boundaries like almost everything else. This competition will drive prices down.

2) Do not have health insurance tied in with employment. You should be able to shop for your own insurance and keep it whether you switch jobs or not.

3) Stop making health insurance cover everything. We used to pay for office visits. Insurance should be for things we can't afford, like hospitalization. Could you imagine how expensive car insurance would be if we used it to cover every oil change or swapping of the wipers?Isn%26039;t this the answer to the health care problem?
way better than going along the same path we have been going along which is always more government intervention which has lead to higher prices and limited choices.Isn%26039;t this the answer to the health care problem?
That just about covers everything.Isn%26039;t this the answer to the health care problem?
good point. to simple and not intrusive enough though. there is no herder to stop the sheep from jumping off the cliff. sheep are stupid.Isn%26039;t this the answer to the health care problem?
and (4) limits on lawsuits.

The 4 part health care reform that America can live with.Isn%26039;t this the answer to the health care problem?
I think the answer is a hybrid of some sort or another of the rest of the wealthy countries of the world's health care plans. All of which have some sort of public option.

Why do we Americans always have to be different. No country's health care plan is perfect, but every single one of them is better than ours. Every single one of their citizens enjoys health care that they can afford. If they get sick or have an accident, they are covered.

We have a health care system that is exclusionary, costs too much when you can get it and provides substandard care compared to other wealthy countries.
